Arhetipul fictiv a fost declarată ca fiind caracterul de Hagu de la Honey & Clover. Arhetipul efectivă a Mori de moda fata este actrita Yuu Aoi, care ca o chestiune de fapt a jucat Hagu în filmul Honey & Clover în 2006. Fata Mori nu a dezvoltat doar ca un stil, ci ca un stil de viață. Fete ciudate care iubesc haine de epocă, ceasuri de buzunar, ceai, vor simți ca acasă în acest stil de moda. Deși fata Mori este natural, aceasta nu înseamnă că este simplu! Fata Mori are un pic de complexitate la ea."
